This hostel has a great location opposite the train station and close to the beach and town, but it is overcrowded, grubby and intolerably hot. There are no doors on the ladies toilets (!) and not usable communal area. They have some apartments that are better than the hostel

This isn't the best hostel in the world, but as it's the only one in santa barbara it's good enough. The location is really good between the beach and downtown. Showers have no doors, just curtains, and some of the guests were quite noisy but that's not really the fault of the hostel. Good value for money compared to the other options in the area.

The price is very inflated for the lack of facilities; The ladies toilets don\'t even have doors (only curtains) and were frequently blocked, the rooms were cramped, the common area is tiny and shuts t 10pm and there was only one washer and dryer each taking over an hour a cycle. There is also no alcohol allowed. I would not recommend this hostel.
Great location. If you want to be in the heart of it all in Frisco, this hostel provides easy access to most of the amenities that this incredible city has to offer!

This hostel was ok... nothing special. Right by the train station so quite convenient. short walk into town or to the beach. staff were great - very helpful, with lots of ideas for things to do.

I can't rate anything as good, because even though called 48 hrs. before and the day of to confirm, my room was still given away. And I didn't receive any notice until I was already sitting in the lobby, talking to two other people who had the same problem. Very Frustrating!

Awful! dirty 12 bed dorms; only one restroom for each gender for the whole hostel; (mostly) unfriendly staff (be aware of the manager -Jason-!) no activities around the hostel; a few expensive locker; poor common place; no activities; boring and unlikeable. worst hostel I've ever stayed!
