The Santa Fe Hostel is perfect if you´re stopping in Lima for a night or two. It´s close to the airport, clean, good price for what you get, and the owner/manager is full of useful information. A little far from the city center if you´re planning on spending a few days in town, but an overall good value.

Jorge is a nice guy, very helpful and speaks pretty good english. It´s ten minutes by cab(cheap) to the Centro. Large modern supermarket nearby.

I would like to recomend this hostel to single female travellers. I felt totally safe and the owner offers a pick up service from the air port at a very reasonable price. (I didnt use it to get to the hostel and got ripped off and was very scared by the unscrupuless taxi driver) needless to say i did pay for a lift back to the airport.

We checked in very late and left very early the next morning, so my experience cannot really do the place justice. However, the owner is friendly and gracious, and he went out of his way to help us.
Staff was very nice and picked us up in the airport, even though he had to wait over an hour for us, and it was 1 am!

a great place to stay if you need to sleep between flights. Close to the airport. Incredibly gracious about picking me up(though my flight was 2 hours late) and taking me back to the airport at 4am.
