Excellent hostel but address given above is just off of the main square but the actual hostel is up a massive hill. Had to pay extra for sheets so we used our sleeping bags. Would stay again.

I've been here a few times now - nice rooms, not too many sharing a bathroom, value for money and a good location - very central but quiet and just out of the Sarajevo smog... Recommended! The owners are also lovely. Not only was I treated to (over) copious amounts of the home brew slivovica, but to a proper coffee the next morning gratis ;) Cheers guys, so long and thanks for all the booze and conversation!

Highly recommended, but be aware to read all the further information before booking, only couples or girls are accepted. On more thing, they charge the linen, so, keep it in mind. But the place is very nice, so few more euros to feel like at home, doesn't really matter.

This is a vrey quiet, nice place to stay. However, there is not free internet or free airport transfer as advertised when we were booking. We enjoyed our private room a lot though. Good place for couples looking for privacy.

Thank you very much for the excellent service! This is very good quality accommodation run by friendly locals who speak good English. This is quite high standard for a hostel and everything is dealt with professionally. A bit outside of the buzz of the city centre but in good walking distance, this place is rather quiet and for those travellers who came to spend their day mainly with exploring the city. I stayed two weeks and was welcomed like a family member. When I left my necklace it was sent to me by post - there is nothing more to ask for, especially when considering the price. - Kristina, Berlin (Germany)

We came with our 2 year old boy. It was a wonderful place to stay! The owners are very friendly and helpful and the place was clean and quiet. It's a bit up in the hills but after a day in Sarajevo, you do enjoy to breathe some clean air and have a great view of the city and mountain. It's really easy to walk down to town and not so bad to walk up. We highly recommend Sartour Hostel and wish all the best to its owners! Marie-France, Edin and Ylann

We would highly recommend this hostel for people wanting a friendly, clean environment that is close to the old town of Sarajevo. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to help you. We were also very impressed with the tours ran by this company. Very informative and definiely a great way to gain a much deeper insight into this fabulous city/country. Although short, we had a great stay! Thankyou!!!

Expect strange things here - staff at reception in their underwear were amongst the highlights. The hostel is very basic with high prices for extras including access to the kitchen or usage of pillows and blankets, which would be fine except they turn off the heater, even in the middle of winter.

1. In fact the hostel does not have a real parking, it is just a drive way, so small that bumpers of the cars touch each other. 2. The hostel is not situated in the centre, only the small office of the travel agency is in the centre. 3. I was informed that the hostel is open all day around , but in fact when I reached it during the night I had a problem to enter. 4. The owner offered to park my car and almost broke it.
