A five minute walk from Amalfi (it's in a neighboring beach village). Beautiful setting. No locks on the doors however and only plasterboard 'dividing' walls within the hostel (like a bunch of changing rooms). Can be a bit noisy at night despite silent hours. Breakfast was good however. Worth the price.

The best place to stay for visiting the Amalfi coast. The village has somehow remained some of its authentic character...you won`t find that in the tourist floaded Amalfi or Positano. The hostel is a charming place run by two friendly brothers, the breakfast you get is choice.

Don't bother with Amalfi, Atrani is by far and away the best if you want a taste of tourist free Amafi coast! Loads of brilliant walks to be had from here- would recommend Ravello and exploring the Salitas.

It was a nice hostel very clean but not in Amafli like 10 min walking from amafli but i liked this area better has better young night life. the hostel wasnt very socialable but you still meet tons of people. there were alot of stairs to get there tho lol. and we were in the attic so we did not have a real room, we had openings so it was loud.

We loved our stay at the A Scalinatella hostel. The staff was very friendly and it was nice staying in a little village. There are two American Bars a stones throw from the hostel, which are very fun. The scenery is amazing and we were very comfortable in our room. Will definetly come back again!

The staff at this place is amazing. They are all so nice and helpful with anything you need. The breakfast, for those of you not used to Italian breakfast, is amazing. The location of the hostel is perfect as well since it is not a big tourist city. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! The only thing I would say for improvement is to maybe have a kitchen? It gets a bit expensive to eat out every night...but other than that, it was lovely!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Atrani is a great little town to stay in while on the Amalfi coast. Felipe is a sweetheart. The hostel is clean. There is no common area but you have Luigi's bar, just hang out there. Free internet there. The hostel bfast was great. 45 second walk to the beach. Atrani is the place to be. And it is only a beautiful 10 minute walk right on the coast to Amalfi itself. Great hostel, great people. great great great.

Excellent. Paid for a 4 bed dorm, ended up with my own room for the first night and only one other roommate for the other 2 nights. And do as everyone else has said and head down to Luigis bar. So cheap, so good, so much fun.
