xlendi is very beautiful but totally isolated (mind the buses!!) and lacking in services (drug store, chemist's...) don't miss a walk (dangerous) to the tower :)

As from 3rd July 2011 a new bus service will start operating in Gozo. In Xlendi it will be operating every hour from 05:45 till 23:15. So don't worry when booking - you won't be isolated :-)
