i liked it and it was very clean , i am more used to typical hostel beds which are more solid though, and more solid mattresees, it is a well adapted old house....you just could not get room for a large sittign room in a house like that.....th elocationw as excellent, so close to ecvery thing , train shops, pubs & beach, yes i would stay again

A bit of a let down at this one. The internet was a bit tempermental at the beginning, the beds are horribly uncomfortable and noisy!! The common room is much too small and only has bean bag chairs. If you are looking to socialize this is not the place. This hostel does have very friendly staff though and the kitchen is very nice.

A really clean, well equipped hostel. The kitchen and eating areas are great, and like the locker/storage area for bags. A bit far out from Brighton centre but tonnes of shops & restaurants around, and only 2 mins walk from the beach :)Definitely recommend it, nice and friendly staff, only problem is the check in and check out times (that said I didn\'t arrive until gone 7pm and someone came to let me in)

The staff were really friendly and made you welcome straight away. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach front and is easily accessable to all the local amenities. The hostel is not quite the 10-15 minute walk from the stationa as advertised which mad ehtings difficutlt in the heat with heavy bags but there is cheap bus that is very regular for those of us that are a bit lazy. The only problem we had was that the windows don't open far enough and on the couple of days we were there th

I really liked staying here. It was a very comfortable place to be. Brighton is so beautiful it's hard to stay inside but it was very nice to have a clean cozy spot to head back to at the end of the day.

The hostel was pleasant enough, and the owner was a very bright and friendly chap. We didn't visit the kitchen area at all while we were there, so we can't comment on that - the only negatives we had were really poor pillows (and just a sheet rather than actual quilt covers, which didn't make much sense) and a rather feeble cold tap in the bathroom. We do plan to go back, with sleeping bags and pillows of our own, next time!
