Excellentf friendly staff, killer location, clean rooms. Beds a little uncomfortable but not a big deal. Love the privacy curtains on the beds. Great price! My only complaint is that sharing one bathroom with up to 5 other people is a pain. It'd have been nice if there was some sort of separate community bathroom on the property somewhere but it's a minor complaint. Would def stay again! Mike, from USA ~ 9th May 2012

Stayed at 2 places on this island, and this one was by far the better of the 2. Tried to stay again, but had to book 2 consecutive nights :-(.Had a great, friendly atmosphere due to the welcoming staff. All the perks were free (beach towels, luggage storage, facility use after check-out) while the other hostel charged for EVERY little thing. Loved the privacy curtain on the beds. I stayed at another hostel for two nights before coming to this one, and this was by far the better one though the prices were the same. I was overall very pleased with my stay here. Pros: Rooms are cleaned regularly Gated and away from the road Accommodating and friendly staff Excellent location close to bus stops on Kuhio Cons: Beds aren't the most comfortable Can be noise at night, but that's just part of staying in Waikiki Lisa, from USA ~ 22nd Feb 2012

The Hostel, the staff, the fellow travelers, and location were all great. They even did a community BBQ! This hostel communicates, via email, and web reservations and not phone calls. I enjoyed this hostel very much. I gave only very slight ding on facilities only because I wasn't a big fan of the beds, but that could just me being fussy. Overall, those wouldn't stop me at all from staying there again. The staff were fantasticvery friendly and courteous! Lots of extras on hand, like beach mats and beach towels, which definitely saved room in my suitcase. Fun get-togethers, like Tiki Tuesday, went a long way to help visitors know each other along with a pretty courtyard. Shawna, from USA ~ 21st Dec 2011
