Sella Hotel was very basic, but then again it is only a 3 star hotel. Breakfast and the dinner buffet are pretty good. I was accidently charged in JD not US$ for the rooms, but they spotted this error and refunded me the amount. The Turkish baths across the road are hilarious fun.

Decent basic hotel, good for the price that I paid USD 45 the room. Staff were nice apart from the receiption person during the day, who wanted to overcharge.

This hotel has potential, they just to understand that hardselling is not the way forward, it makes people feel uneasy. For example if they arrange for a taxi driver from the boarder it would be good to pick one who is not going to try every trick in the book to get a higher fare. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was poor. Jordanians are very hospitable people, this hotel just needs to reflect that hospitality, then it would thrive.

Prices on hostelworld were wrong and they tried very hard to charge us more, I refused they accepted. Also tv, air con and taps etc didnt work properly. Other than that its a good place with friendly staff.

Air conditioning didn't work and quite close to a very busy road so we had to have the window open and was very noisey.

Booking ahead is the only way to go in Petra -- otherwise the price is triple what is listed here. Also, be aware there's a hefty tourism tax of about 25 JD added to your bill upon arrival. But still, great hotel. Very quiet and the service is out of this world. And don't miss the breakfast buffet!
