- “ Very tiny bedrooms, a little overcrowded, and bathromm has to be shared. Good position, 15 min walking from Dam, near Anna Frank house. Very close to tram stop 13, 14, 17. Good breakfast, you can choose different menu. If you want, you can also have dinner there, it's not so expensive (especially if compared to restaurants!) On thursday evening dinner is for free. ”

- “ Excelent quality for the money you pay. Of course, its not the typical hostel someone will stay at (especially in Amsterdam), unless you are a christian, but if you dont mind having your non-christian-amsterdam-experiences alsewhere this can be a good place to stay: rooms and facilities are very clean, the location is okay, staff is nice, and you have free breakfast and wifi. ”

- “ Quite and peaceful hostel to stay in, 5 nights of stay was nice. Would be nice if they had a guest kitchen. ”

- “ I was uncomfortable with it being a Christian hostel. I was in a hurry to find something over the busy new years and I should have read better. I suggest to update the name on here to Shelter Jordan Christian Hostels. Also, the wifi is very ineffective. Only some websites work. I couldn't get on to hostels.com to reserve my next night somewhere else. Facebook worked fine...? ”

- “ Nice clean place. The breakfast provided is also very good. A free tour was organised when I was there, gives you a feel of the city and not too formal. ”

- “ I absolutely loved my stay at Shelter Jordan! The location is fairly central so it's easy to get around by foot, and is in a beautiful area of the city. The staff are amazing, very friendly, always willing to lend a helping hand and answer any questions you may have during your stay. This international team of staff will be sure to make you feel welcome! They also have a great hang out area/cafe and even hold events like open mics. I highly recommend this hostel :D ”

- “ Very friendly staff, very well organized and secure place. I wasn't aware at the time of booking that it's a christian hostel. No alcohol or smoke allowed, not even in the lovely little garden outside. If you want to extend your prayers to the holy smoke, there's a coffee shop 3 blocks away. ”

- “ Staff were very friendly, breakfast was adequate with a choice of three options..muesli with yogurt, fruit and a beverage or bread, cheese, beverage or pancakes or sometimes french toast.. I enjoyed the location . They have a cozy cafe and outdoor garden and it is quiet and peaceful for those who enjoy tranquility..I would return.. ”

- “ I stayed in the female dorms. I think that for the price it's a good accomodation, close to the city center and in a very nice area, clean, breakfast was good and the girl serving it was always friendly and smiling. I did not participate to Bible discussion as I'm not interested, but at least nobody asked me to join. ”
