i got bed bugs! but it was just on one of the beds. my friends didn't get bit at all. overall, very informative and good hostel.

Location great. Dorm was a walkway to another room! Only one shower to share between all the people staying there. Reasonably clean. Staff very helpful. Lots of stairs to get to hostel!
This place was like and apartment and kept very clean. The location was great along the River and city cenre, which is very walkable. The only thing we had an issue with was that because you don\'t have 24 hour reception we had to ATTEMPT to call 15 minutes before so we spent 30 minutes at the train station after traveling so many hours just to figure out how to use the local telephone. But either way STILL WORTH THE STAY, just a warning about the local phones.
Excellent location, not much to do in Split though so i would only spend one night

Little bit hard to find but the manager was outside at the time so lucky me! Fantastic location, close to the main harbour and the palace ... Great to just wander and explore Split!
The best thing about the Silver Gate is that it\'s in a fantastic location. Also, the staff are friendly, it\'s clean, it\'s sociable and the rooms are air conditioned. Recommended.
