  • Absolutely loved my time at the hostel, such friendly people! Perfect location if you want to go into the mountains for hiking and skiing. The staff is actually made up of people staying at the hostel which is different, but gave me valuable insights into what such a life could be like. Only snag is you have to pay for internet, but usually you would find yourself not using it often as you will be doing activities all day and socialising at night. Would definitely recommend!

  • Things we liked: the atmosphere of the hostel was very relax. The bathroon and kitchen facilities were clean. The fire place in the room was a plus. Things we didn't liked: WiFi was very expensive. 10 NZD for 200 mb and 15 NZD for 500 NZ. There were no good sponges to clean your dishes. One guest of our room checked in at 10:30 PM.
