plese dont stay in this hostel is a night mare the front desk staff is terrible super rude there no hot water in the showers they dont know anything about customer service also there were roaches in the room bad , bad.. william, from USA ~ 26th Oct 2009

Do not stay at this hostel. I was awful. There was only water at some periodes during the day - and when there was water it wasn't hot and the pressure so low that it was impossible to get shampoo out. The bed was broken, the room was dirty and the fan could not cool down the room at all. When we tried to get our money back from two of three days we had paid for in advance it was almost impossible and only because we were so persistant we were able to get the money back for one night. The Location is okay, it is not in the nicest part of Tel Aviv but the beach is not far away. Still, our room did not have AC and it was sticky and hot at night. In the morning the showers were cold or did not run at all. It is okay to stay there for a night but I wouldn't recommend it for much longer. Franziska, from Germany ~ 18th Aug 2009

BAD,BAD,WORSE!This has got to be the worst hostel I have ever stayed at,it is run down,filthy and expensive.Do yourself a favour and steer away from this place,no matter how close it is to the beach or how they describe their joint, it is not worth half of what they are charging to stay there.I can understand the backpacker hostels are basic,but this is just plain mean.Trust me, sleeping on 15cm. filthy mattresses on bunk-bed boards is plain mean. It was clean and you can't beat the location a block from the beach. The staff was little help. Our doorknob fell off and we had no water pressure. We we talked to the staff they completely blew us off. But, it was clean which my biggest requirement. Dear Sky Hostel. actuallly, your hostel is pretty clean. The cleaning guy does a good job! But - there are just too many holes in the walls, the curtains hang in too litte hangers, the paint was lousy. Do take som days, painting, filling out the holes in the walls, hanging up the curtains in a nice manner - that would make your hostel look MUCH nicer! To tell the truth I am not sure we will return.
