Brilliant hostel after a long trip. Designed with the wandering backpacker in mind. Big common room perfect for meeting new people and making friends.

after stating an arrival time we discovered our room not ready. despite advertising linen was provided, there were no sheets or pillowcases and we had to hire towels. breakfast was reasonable (toast and cereal) and included in the price. easy walking to old town and railway station.

This hostel has been an excellent choice, very good location, between the train station and the town center. It is clean and comfortable. People at reception are nice.

One of the best hostels i ever stayed in. Great staff. Only suggestion is about directions. Just include "Look for the HUGE Yahama sign outside."

Really helpful and friendly staff in a great location providing easy access to the bus to and from the airport as well as into the immediately nearby old city with its numerous sights, cafes, bars etc.
The place was inherently quiet but my visit was marred somewhat by some incredibly noisy and inconsiderate all-male groups crashing and shouting around the place through most of the night. Perhaps that is acceptable to some but not me.

This is a great hostel. Not the BEST, but definitely worth your money. Actually I was quite surprised at the quality of Skyhostel, it was on par with hostels I have stayed at in Singapore, Spain, and Germany.
Everything is brand new, although there isn't much character. Also, while it is about a 10 minute walk to the Main Market Square - it would have been nice for it to be closer to the train station.
