Following the directions to the place is very tricky. Once you get out of the subway and are following the bank of the lake you will be walking for about 15 minutes even if you feel that you are walking not on the lake. I wish they would have said that you would go down about 2 alleys away from the lake and it would be easier to find. Keep an eye out on your left for the place. Not a bad place and organized a cab for 530am to go to the airport and it was on time. Actually a very nice place once you figure out how to get to it.

This is a very nice and reasonable place to stay in Beijing, and the wireless internet access is great if you have your own laptop. The only drawback is that the location is a bit out of the way and it's hard to find the first time. Also, taxi drivers are a little confused by it. (But I have to say that I booked it before arrival specifically because it was near a lake and I thought it would be more serene in a big city, so I can't complain too much!) All in all a good place to stay.

An excellent choice for Beijing, the area is very charming and while popular, Sleepy Inn has a location that is very un-touristy. Very chilled, relaxing place with character and the staff are helpful. Highly recommended.
