Smile beach is lovely if you want away from everything, but it is very remote. Eating options in Hat Salaad are v limited, thought the onsite restaurant is good and cheap too. There is not a lot to the area, and the taxi from the port cost us 600bt. but its a nice complex, clean and friendly

We stayed for 5 nights and no one even emptied the bin! I know it is a hostel but this encouraged more insects! We did have one cockroach. The staff overall were great the food lovely and the bus to the full moon party was brilliant. The beach here is amazing would definitely return,

Great little hut with a lovely hammock. Restaurant is cheap and convenient but not the best food. Hat Salad is a beautiful beach and far nicer than either of the bays either side of it. We did have an ant problem on our final night but they had no problems moving us into the hut next door as the resort was practically empty. Only real complaint was the price of the internet. They claimed it was high speed but because they were downloading stuff at the same time it barely worked!

very clean but basic little beach huts right on the beach front. very good value for money although full moon party is quite far away (over 1000baht taxi on land). would recommend

A great place. A huge menu and the food was always lovely and quite cheap as well.

In a word, the place is CUTE, it's in a little beach a bit away from the world, you get this nice N thai cabins and it's near the beach. Lots of swedish families there. If you are after a party place, this is not it.

Friendly staff on a quiet beach, a little far from Haad Rin, but good if you want some peace and quiet. Tidy and clean bungalows.

fantastic get away retreat. ended up staying an extra 5 nites. staff are lovely, on the thai new year (water festival) they invited us to go with them to the nearest town, they took us on the back of their pick up truck and we joined in with the fesivities, and we were well looked after while we were there. place is in a beautiful spot litterally 2 min walk from the beach.

The hostel is very good. Nice bungallows. 100 mts walking to an amazing beach. Only 2 conts, the reception was not open during the hole day, sometimes, we had to make any question in the middle of the morning and it was closed. And, the bongallows are not cleaned dialy. Anyway, I recommend it.
