This is a good place to stay if you are not claustrophobic. Everything is too small, the staff is great, and the directions that this website gave us to get there are not too helpful. But once you find it, it only takes like 10 min. walk to get there from the main square. The bartender/recepcionist/guide is so helpful. This hostel was in a pretty good location, but kind of far from the train station and main city center. The breakfast was really good and definetly worth the money. The only bad thing was that when I left, I was covered with bug bites. I don´t know if I got it from the hostel or from the city, but it was not pleasant. Alison, from USA ~ 7th Oct 2009

Only a spiral staircase to get up to the rooms! Hard with luggage. Very close walk to the Markt and Burg. The lady working there was very nice. Breakfast was basically just toast - free juice only if you filled out a survey. Showers were okay despite the walk and pull cord to operate. Allison, from USA ~ 5th Oct 2009

All was O.K but the room we had everyone could open at any time.Most people thought we were the toilet the showers were hot and breakfast was nice and simple easy to choose. Had a great time. Staff were helpful. Took a while to order a drink from one of them but only coz he was a bit crazy(in a fun way) and wanted to chat. I would reccomend it, everyone was friendly. Negatives were lots of mosqutos in the room, those showers you have to hold down to keep on and the breakfast was poor. Don't let that put you off though John, from England ~ 13th Sep 2009

Not very good. We've booked 3 beds in a 4 bedded room and we had to pass another dorm to get to the room. So the toilet was far away and it was not good. 2. The showers are really awful: you have to pass through the bar, kitchen and smoking-area. And to make the water flow you have to hold a special ring all the time... 3. You can't drink your own alcohol from 5 p.m. Only the bar... 4. The cleaner moved all our baggage while cleaning the room. My boots were on my pillow!! Volha, from Belarus ~ 29th Aug 2009
