Very close to bus station. Good staff. But would like a room with some window. Conditioning air was too old and noisy in the night. But its an OK place for staying :-) Alberto, from Mexico ~ 22nd Oct 2009

I have read posts where confirmed bookings were not in their system. I had booked online and reconfirmed by corresponding with the hotel via email. They even gave me a confirmation number. When I arrived, they had trouble locating my booking. Apart from that, I have no complaints. Anirban, from India ~ 31st Mar 2009

Just for a warning to all future travellers. This hostel is located downtown, which is 30-60 min bus ride to get to the restorts. However all hostels are downtown and this had the best location, Devin, from USA ~ 25th Mar 2009

the hostel is very clean, the staff helpful, the location good, next ADO bus station and downtown. the street is noisy but with the clim it is ok. if we had to come back in cancun we would spend the night there. ( you need to take the bus to go to the beach) quentin, from France ~ 24th Mar 2009

a nice place, clean dorms, good lockers, excellent breakfast (coffee, orange juice, cereal, pastries etc.: all brought to you at the table). only mild discomfort: the room was a bit hot without the AC on and a bit noisy with it on. Shaun, from USA ~ 10th Mar 2009

Near the bus terminal is a good stay to travel around Yucatan zone and cheap place to have fun in hotel zone. Salvatore, from Italy ~ 15th Mar 2009

I rated "fun" good because there was no pool or any of that stuff. But in truth, this place doesn't need all of that. I was there to experience Mexico, not a hotel. Sobereranis provides a comfortable, safe place to stay, and the food is good too. I recommend it to anyone with the mind to stay elsewhere than the fancy, virtual world of the Hotel Zone who still wants to live in comfort. Langston B., from USA ~ 9th Jul 2009

We arrived late at night, the place looked closed, we had a lot of trouble getting in. And the driver from the airport had never heard of this, so we had a lot of trouble finding it. This room was not clean, it had a noisy window unit AC so your choices for the room temperature was either FREEZING or very hot (and this was in January). It smelled of mildew. Also the bathroom window didn't shut/lock so that was a security concern. I guess the only positive(?) to this place is it's near the buses. Edward, from England ~ 20th Mar 2009
