When we arrived, at 1am in the morning they told us that there was no rooms, and we showed them the booking form, nor could they point out where else we could get a room. We ended up in a hotel for twice the price.ThHerefoire I am not happy with your booking system.

Very central location. The woman spoke no English, but that was not important. Very cheap and pleasant, a TV was provided in the room too.

Hostel was ok for an overnight stay if you are passing through Sofia. Well located for access to Central Bus and Train Stations. They did not provide the airport pick up which was the main reason for choosing this Hostel as we were arriving at 1.00am. This would have avoided us being ripped off by the taxi. 10 Levs is Max you should pay at any time.

No one is our group spoke Bulgarian and the only woman it seemed who ran the hostel spoke no English, and seemed to be a little angry with us for the language barrier. Also she hadnt recieved our online booking, alothough I am not sure if that is her or hostelworld´s fault. She did take to us much more after we paid for the room in advance. Other than that there was no problem, it was cheap, clean, and the rooms were large and nice. I would recomend it particularly if you know a little Bulgarian. I would though recomend that you take a printed copy of your online reservation to smooth things along.

This hostel is good choice when your interest is a place to sleep and/or leave your stuf. For fun you need to go elsewhere but that is no problem since the city center is a just a 10 min walk. Some knowledge of the Bulgarian language may be needed to communicate with the staff. They are very friendly and helpfull once you manage to explain your needs. Maybe a tip on finding the place: when you are on Lavov most square and looking direction center: go left, third street to the right (Ravosky) and the hostel is on righthand side of the road (beginning): look for a white port and enter.
