We are again very dissapointed with Hostel World because as we got near Soggiorno Elia in Naples we noticed that it was in one of the most dangerous neighbourhood in the city and when we were almost there we were not brave enough to walk on that street. Beacuse of it I had to spend many hours looking for another hostel. I think Hostel World, even offering cheap options, should care a little about the security of who are using its services. I hope I'm not gonna be charged by this lousy indication of yours.

Hostel is located near the main railway station. Rooms are quite large, with good clean bathrooms. There is an excellent breakfast bar in the same street. Good value for money.

appartement sans cuisine au 5eme étage d'un immeuble sans ascensseur situé à 5 min de la gare. l'hotesse d'accueil ne parle que l'italien donc communication très difficile, aucune brochure ou catre ou autre informations touristiques données.

The building is currently under renovation and will look much better once finished.

It was hard to find and in a really seedy area. I went back to the train station thinking, "no way" then returned again because Iàd paid for it already. Once in the room it was fine, very nice really, but wow--it was not a place I wanted to leave the room. I guess itàs not their fault.

Building with torn out windows no sign on the building. I emailed the plan in advance to confirm reservation and never heard back. I showed up and was turned away by an Italian who spoke no English. I was stranded in Naples as there were no other hotels available. Had to sleep on the street.

There was nobody at the reception desk when we arrived and it took them aboutr 15 to respond to our arrival. After the 16 year old receptionist came to greet us, we asked him if it was allright if we left our luggage there, he said it was fine. However the next day it was a complete mess, since we couldn't get a hold of anyone and finally when we did, they said that we had to meet them at the hotel in 10 minutes or else we wouldn't be able to get our luggage until the next day! It was a completly unprofessional hostel.

Naples as a whole is a bad location but I see the owner effort trying to make the place more pleasant. The rooms looks brand new, and comes with TV and air conditioning. Sad the neighbourhood is a bit scary, but as I said, the whole Naples does.
