Not on the beach, but very nice, big rooms and the best AC we had in a month of travel in the area. Kata beach is a good place to be if you want some action but not the over-the-top-ness of Patong. Overly helpful, maybe overbearing owner/manager.

Southern fried Rice is a great place to stay, the staff were very friendly and the owner extremely helpful and full of local knowledge. The rooms are clean and spacious. I extended my stay from 4 days to 2 weeks, need I say anymore?

OK guesthouse. The free pool, and other games are a nice touch. The restaraunt served pretty good meals.
The owner is norwegian. He is extremely helpful and can book any tour you want. Convenience, cleanliness and friendliness is what you will find here. I had a great time at this hostel.

Such an amazing place!! The staff is incredibly friendly, the location is awesome (only a few minutes walk to a nice beach) and there's a TON of stuff to do in the area. I will definitely be coming back!
