Nice, clean hostel close to the bus stop. Loved that there was a washroom and teli in the room, but kind of missed having an area to hang out with the rest of the people in the hostel apart from the small kitchen. Maja, from Denmark ~ 23rd Nov 2009

I really enjoyed my stay at the Southside Lodge. I spent 2 weeks here while looking for accommodation for the season and met a great crowd of people to move in with. The rooms all have TVs and the kitchen is very well equipped. Max, the owner, is a great guy, he's really friendly and is more than fair to everyone who passes through the doors. He really helped us out in finding a place to live . Eva is really efficient and keeps the place nice and clean. Although I liked the hostel and the room I stayed in theoretically, I would probably not go back as it was the dirtiest hostel I have ever seen! Carpets and couch, as well as the bathroom were very filthy. So was the common kitchen. Otherwise it is a good place to stay. Read Owner Comments Christina, from Germany ~ 30th Jun 2009
