We booked for 3 nights and then learned that if we stuck around a few more days we'd catch Laos New Year so... in total we will be staying 10 nights! It's pretty great, free wifi, friendly staff, hot water showers, plenty of seating/outlets/room! Very easy walk into the heart of the town or to the rivers. Megan, from Canada ~ 10th Apr 2011

I hate to rate hostels lowly, but this was a disappointment.Of course, the price was AMAZING - I think that it was probably the lowest price I found on my entire trip throughout SE Asia.However, there were certain things about it that probably justified the low prices.First of all, the location is quite removed from the center of the town - a long and lightless walk from most of the bars and restaurants.As for security, it is sorely lacking.When I was there, a girl was woken up in the middle of Carolyn, from USA ~ 26th Apr 2011
