Location: 300m to Lamarck-Caulaincourt Metro station => ~20-30 min on metro from/to main tourist sites. Security: No lockers and no possibility whatsoever to really lock your lugage!So don't bring your laptop...! Staff: They were quite slow (and some stoned all the time) but always very kind and helpful. Cleanliness: my sheets were not really clean, nor was the bathroom, but normal hostel average. Okay so one guy was really helpful and nice, but the others (who people usually deal with as they man the reception in the morning, evening, and through the night) could not be bothered to help at all. THEY WERE RUDE. Anyway, we enjoyed our time there regardless and breakfast was really good! It was really close to the metro so it was quite convenient to access everything in Paris. it gives you a roof over your head, a bed and a small bathroom. Demanded clean sheets - did not get it. Food - little choice but ok. Looks like a "maximize profit" place. Nice Hostel/Hotel. We booked a dorm and they upgraded us to a private room free of charge. Location in Montmartre is great and the staff is fine, no problems really. It's a simple place but I think a decent price for the location you are in and it all seems pretty secure. I'll stay here agai next time I'm in Paris. Peter, from USA ~ 8th Sep 2009

It's an alright hostel if you just need an afforable place to sleep. It has a handful of internet computers for free and includes breakfast, so not too shabby.
