i enjoyed my stay here very much. the atmosphere is really nice and homely, although it could appear rather eerie (or romantic, if u prefer to see it that way :P) in the evening coz of the minimum lighting at the hallways. love the carpeted floor and plush sofas. breakfast is lovely (toast, jam, choice of cereals, milk, orange juice), truly appreciate the round the clock coffee and chocolate! room is really nice, i stayed in a 4-bed female dorm and i like the balcony! will def stay there again! Really nice hostel - friendly staff, homely environment and nice, well kept dorms. Location is good too with the tram right outside the door - very easy/fast to get into town. No complaints at all - would definitely stay here again! Jennie, from England ~ 18th Jul 2009

Mary and staff were so kind an accommodating--not to mention very pleasant. Our room and toilet/bathroom was very clean and we always had clean towels and beddings. The bunkbeds were unexpectedly comfortable! The free breakfasts were convenient and accommodating as the use of the dining room with computers/internets and laundry room. The location was ever so convenient to the trams, the city centre, cafes, chemists and 7-11!!! I will definitely return and recommend to my friends. I also mad Rose Marie, from USA ~ 25th May 2009

This is the most homely hostel we've ever stayed in. Its so nice to come home to comforts! The facilities are great and well maintained, cleaned regularly. Free breakfast is selection of cereals and toast, also inc is free pasta and rice for eve meals. Mary the owner is lovely and chatty and very helpful with local info. Location is in the best area of Melbourne and only 10 mins away from CBD on tram! Loved it here! Angela, from England ~ 12th Feb 2009
