  • About the staff, we've been happy with the welcoming staff, but not really with the "breakfast staff". About the cleanliness: the room was really dusty on the floor, so was the floor of the toilets !

  • Good enough hostel, my room was clean and the common room was very nice (although it was in another building, 3min walk from this one). Toilets/bathrooms are TERRIBLE though - dirty and most of them TINY. Wifi inside the room was a plus. The signal in my room was very weak - but it worked. Location was good enough I guess, 5-6min walking distance to the tube and with a supermarket in front of the other building (so a 3min walk).

  • The internet did not work at this hostel, so you had to go 500 m down the road to another St Christopher's hostel. The commen room was freezing.

  • Good location, really close to the Tube, however some of the staff were not as helpful as others. We stayed at the one above the bar, and the walls were paper thin, you could hear everyone walking in the halls. Breakfast was good, had to rent lockers to store stuff though.

  • The rooms were very warm with no air conditioning or fan, so bring thin clothes to cope with this. The bar downstairs also tends to spill out onto the alleyway that all the rooms face, and the patrons stay there until early in the morning, so earplugs or some other way to drown out the noise is a must. The guests, though, are all courteous and friendly.

  • If you want to be in the middle of the great bars around London bridge and have great access to London this is the place. If you want somewhere quiet it is probably not what you want.

  • DON'T STAY HERE! It was my first hostel experience, and I was scared to death of what the rest of my holiday had in store for us. Luckily the other ones were much better. The staff wasn't very welcoming, no real common rooms, no kitchen. One very tiny shower for 3 floors of rooms, and only 2 toilets for the same number. We only stayed one night, I don't know if I could have survived 2. The one positive was there is a bar in the lobby.
