- “ I thought this place was okay but then seeing the bathrooms, hearing the 18 year old boys brag about drinking, and having to smelling the place, I changed my mind. This place smells horribly especially the third floor and in the showers. The showers do not drain and are apparently never cleaned. I guess if you don't plan on showering and don't mind a much you get crowd, then you would be fine here. ”

- “ The staffs were really not kind. Except for staffs, everything was fine. Please be kind to tourist! Especially a girl with a long blind hair! Terrible. ”

- “ The location is great. The staff was very nice. Not as social a place as I expected. They didn't have hand towels in the bathroom which I didn't like and i didn't care for their breakfast. But between the location, the friendliness of the staff and the security, I had a good time. ”

- “ St. Christopher's is fantastic if you want a party-friendly, community atmosphere. I made several good friends here and drank way more than I thought I would (there's a bar next door where you can get slight discounts). Clean rooms, decent bathrooms, and a great common room. It's near London Bridge station, which can take you anywhere in London quickly. Security is good. The larger rooms tend to be noisier, so light sleepers be aware. ”

- “ 2nd stay, great as previously. everything you'll expect from a city-centre hostel in one of the most competitive hostel-cities in the world. the only thing to criticise is the lack of atmosphere because it's a chain. basically this hostel could be in every big city in the world without noticing that you're in London. after many stays at hostels this becomes more and more annoying... but that's only my personal view ”

- “ The showers are a disaster. Water is inconsistent in temperature and there is visible mold. I wouldn't recommend the Village, but might stay there again because of the location. The bar isn't bad. ”

- “ I had a great time at St Christopher's! Good wifi and there was always a party. Was travelling alone but had no trouble finding people to hang out with! Will definitely come again! ”

- “ You need to pay to use the computers and the lockers, also there is no kitchen and only one microwave. The location is very good, and the atmosphere is great. Is a good place if you want to party. ”

- “ I was only there for one night but liked it very much. There was a bar downstairs where you could meet people, but my room was quite nice and quiet when I wanted to sleep. The only issue I had was that I thought check-out would be at 11, but it turned out to be at 10, which seemed a bit early. ”

- “ amazing city-hostel! you feel welcome with the first step entering the door. friendly staff, great beds, great lockers, great breakfast (cereals, wholemeal/normal toast, coffee/tee), yes, it's a party hostel. but many people seem to be there because the expect entertainment from either other guests or the staff. you won't get that - do something! you can party hard with fellow guests, in london itself or in the bar/downstairs club. it's about getting communicative and having a great time ”

- “ I only spent one night in this hostel, but it was easy to find and the staff was friendly when I arrived at 5:30 am instead of the night before due to weather. The bed was comfy, room was spacious for an 8 person bed. I didn't see the showers, the toilet area was alright. ”

- “ Almost everything was good- the location is o.k., and the atmosphere was very good, a lot of young people, parties and fun! and about the noise- I didn't here nothing from the room so you can sleep if you don't want to party. the shower and toilet are not good- the water not hot enough and in the toilet a lot of floats... ”

- “ Busy hostel, well run and organised. Despite being a party style hostel, I slept well and found the bunks comfortable and well prepared. Definitely returning! ”

- “ Great if you want to party. Sainsbury's directly across the road. Awesome communal room. Internet can be a bit dicky at times. ”

- “ Brilliant place to stay to see London centre and to have a party! Probably wouldn't recommend it if you need a good sleep, but if you are up for some fun- perfect! Wear thongs in the showers though- a bit grotty!! ”

- “ Nice location right off of London Bridge station. Easy walk to lots of attractions in a nice area. Hostel includes both a common area and a bar (which hostel guests get great discounts on food and booze). Staff were very helpful and available 24h a day. Rooms were surprisingly nice, given the older building the hostel is in. Only downside was that we were on the top floor, so lots and lots of stairs (and no elevator). No rooftop patio for those hot English days :) ”

- “ Good value for money, everyone was really friendly (staff and guests) lively bar area. Only problem was the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, and I was a bit annoyed that you had to pay to use a security locker. These were only minor problems that I needed to bring up ”
