- “ The hostel was perfectly located with tons of parking. We liked being able to come and go as we pleased once we were checked in. The staff were friendly and the room was cozy. ”

- “ They should have locks to rent for the lockers. Comfortable beds but the roomate was annoying. ”

- “ The St. Clair Hotel and Hostel is a very nice hostel located in the heart of Vancouver. The staff were very friendly and approachable, and the rooms a large and spacious. The hostel offers FREE wifi and heater. The only problem is that this hostel is almost like a "ghost house". I had neither met nor saw a single person living in this hostel. This is a good hostel if you like quite & want privacy. The facilities are a bit outdated & needs upgrade. Overall, great place if you like old furniture. ”

- “ Very nice place in a cool location close to the SkyTrain and Canada Line. Though I never saw any other people neither staff or guests. Pretty sad. ”

- “ Been here a few nights now, extremely quiet, would have to guess that there have been no more than half a dozen guests staying here. If you want simple rooms, with decent enough bathrooms and just a place to leave your bags in a great location, then I would recommend St Clair for sure! There are no kitchen facilities but it's Vancouver, why would you want to eat in? ”

- “ Good location, tidy rooms, wi-fi doesn´t work inside rooms. Good value for money, I recommend it! ”

- “ This was the first time I stayed in a hostel and it was such a good experience. I got to meet people from all around the world and made many new friends. A hostel experience is not the same as a hotel experience. You have to be comfortable with sharing a room, seeing people all the time and sharing bathrooms. Essentially if you are comfortable with a university/college dorm lifestyle, you will be good. St. Claire is very nicely located in the downtown area and is very safe. I had a great time! ”

- “ I got a private room and was quite satisfied. Excellent price for the location. Was facing Richards St. so a bit noisy because I had to keep the window open to stay cool at night, but not too bad. The 9 p.m. deadline to check-in was a bit tricky to make, but no worries. I'll stay again. Great value for money. ”

- “ There was no kitchen, which makes it not recommendable to stay for more than three nights. ”

- “ St. Clair is friendly and familliarly constructed accommodation. There one can feel safety in the centre after whole walking around Vancouver. ”
