My stay at St. Nicholas was awesome! Great staff, good location, clean rooms and bathroom, good breakfast and fun environment. I just don't know why my booking was not OK, since I paid 10% in advance through internet. Also, the bathroom had no soap or paper towel to dry off hands. Besides for that, I had a great time and will be back for sure. Miss Bs As already!!!

Staff are really helpful, they booked our tango show at Cafe Tortoni and can give lots of other advice, they speak good english. Our bedroom window (double room, not dorm) opened onto a communal area and the window didn't close, which is why I rated security lower. Showers are temperamental. Overall, would recommend it for the price.

Every single member of the staff was amazing. They were personable and so open to showing me the main spots to hit in Buenos Aires. The only negative was there was only 1 other occupant in the entire hostel so after 2 days I switched hostels.

Party atmosphere. I had a private room on top floor, but it was still noisy.

Our 3rd different stay over 6 weeks in South America. Excellent breakfast, knowledgeable staff, walking distance from downtown and other districts such as San Telmo, Palmero or Recolta

Paid for air conditioning but it did not work the night on February 25th. Outstanding breakfast, good knowledgeable staff.

One of the better breakfasts served at a hostel we enjoyed in 6 weeks in South America (coffee, orange juice, fruit salad, yogurt, plenty of toast, and cake).
