Stonehurst was great, and right in the centre of Christchurch. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Everything you could want or need from a backpacker's. Including cheap beer!

Brilliant hostel.Had everything you could have wanted.Was very clean and rooms were spacious.

They give u a code to open the front door, and change it every day, so u have to waste your time going to the desk and asking for the new one if u stay more than 1 night. But everybody holds the door for everybody anyway.

Typical hostel. Room smelled funny, but the outside of the hostel was very cute. Easy walking distance to Cathedral Square and the rest of the city.
In bedrooms there were no power points for charging phones and cameras. I didn't feel comfortable leaving them in kitchen for anyone to pinch.
