- “ It is really inconvenient that there is no wi-fi in the rooms. Especially since there is no lift either so you constantly have to go up and down 6 floors to get access to Internet. Also, the toilets are not in good condition. ”

- “ I loved my stay at Strand Continental and plan to use it again on a future trip to London. The staff is friendly and amazingly helpful, and the location is FABULOUS...you simply can't ask for a better place to be in London, within short walking distance of most of the key historical sites of the city (one block from the Thames!). My only complaints are the mattresses (thin, lumpy) and lack of WiFi in the individual rooms. If the owner corrects these, it will be a perfect hostel! ”

- “ The room was tiny. The heat didn't work for the fist 2 days leading to all of us catching a cold. The free Wifi didn't work on the cellphones so had to use some random connection from a local store. When we ask the receptionist to call a taxi she called some hired car to take us to victoria station (a 7 min. drive from the hotel) they planned 50 min. it was 4 in the morning. the driver had no idea where he was going or what he was doing. it costed 15 pounds. We felt really riped of. ”
