A good overall experience. Good environment and pretty clean bathroom (en suite). Everyone was friendly and tired to get people talking and hanging out. The staff were down to earth and gave me a good run through of the city and map. The key deposit was a little ridiculous though, and almost as expensive as the room. Also, it was difficult at times to know who actually was working there because people were coming in and out and sleeping on sofas etc etc.

The place was really easy to find and the location was fantastic... the staff were 'more' than helpful!! We would easily go back without hesitation. Our only fault was that the bathroom didn't smell very fresh... as if a pipe was blocked under the bath and causing a damp smell. The air conditioning was great in the warm weather and all the other facilities in the place were perfect.
We'd go back again without doubt but next time maybe with a different bathroom.

I would highly recommend this hostel for its convenience. the only drawback is that they do not accept credit card and there was no advance notice about it.
thank you for staying, however we must point out that we do give advance warning that we only accept credit cards through paypal on the hostelworld site. we are however conveniently located near many cash machines and currency exchange points.

The hostel staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful, and the room itself was more than I expected. The location is great, there are markets near by and everything is close...I walked EVERYWHERE, even Heroes' Square. I never had to take the metro, and I had a nice stay. The only thing I suggest is to have someone...awake...at the desk early in the morning so those of us with early flights can get our deposits back. :) No real complaints though.

My favorite hostel from my trip - the staff were welcoming and the hostel was clean and well-equipped. The location was amazing (pretty much everything is within walking distance), breakfast was great.
Hostel staff would sit every new guest down and talk to them, show them around on the map, suggest things for them to do, as well as invite them to hostel events (pub nights, BBQ, etc.) I had an amazing stay in Budapest!

Good located hostel and friendly staff!
Supermarket right next to you, and 5 minutes away from a 24 hour supermarket.
Everything is pretty nearby, walk distance.
Only hero's square is a bit far but just take the metro and you are there in a minute and only costs you like 50 eurocents singleticket.
Hostel itself was cool, they are preparing for summer now so we had the whole appartment for ourself! Pretty awesome. Only bad thing was that there a no lockers in the room and hot water if you w
