OK, but dorm room shares single bath with all the staff and the building doormen, who bathe in the same bath and it doesn\'t get cleaned up afterwards -- also, the staff uses the dorm pillows and beds for random naps, etc.. I had to check 5 pillows to find a clean one. Be prepared to beg for breakfast --- but all said, for Egypt and the price its not all that bad considering the location. And they do try - in their unique way. Owen, from USA ~ 24th Sep 2009

They don't have wifi. It's not much to look at, but it's safe, clean and well situated. Not a hostel so much in the backpacker sense. More just a place to crash. Ian, from Canada ~ 24th May 2009

Hello, just stayed at sun hostel, for the second time, and it has improved with time, very clean, beds comfy, fans, spotless bathrooms. Ramy at reception wil help you with any travel plans you have, not pushy, just genuine helpful, great location, 5 minutes walk to bus station for airport, across road from museum, easy walk to train station, what more would you want, its great. marie, from Ireland ~ 17th May 2009

I thought that this was hands down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, considering the price that we payed to stay there. They staff was amazingly friendly, and they went above and beyond to help you with whatever you needed. We got a full tour of the city of cairo for only 20 dollars, and at the end of our trip we were short on money and they even lent us some money to get a taxi. I would definately recommend this to any of my friends, and I would definately stay there again. Especia Thomas, from USA ~ 21st Apr 2009

We are three girls on spring break and we didnt know anything about our trip before arrive to this hostel, but the staff (Ramy and Mido)were really helpful and provided us with a very well organized trip to all the places that are worth to see in Egypt (cairo, gyza, the desert, aswan, luxor, dahab and alexandria)including a night in the feluca on the nile river. Whenever we have a doubt or a inconvinience at any of the places we were, we called Ramy and he was ready and pleased to help Claudia Patricia, from Chile ~ 3rd Apr 2009

Location is great for a cheap bed. If you are healthy to walk 9 floors the lift just work in evening. Dont buy any trips from the hostel very expensive and many extra fees coming later on without any information. Henrik SWE Henrik, from Sweden ~ 31st Mar 2009
