Nice place in a great location in downtown Cairo and on the main metro lines. Romy was great in organizing and suggesting itineraries for our time in Egypt especially to the Baharyia Oasis and Giza. The hostel is also a great value and solid place to stay in Cairo.

The owner, Ramy, was such a sweet person, and he arranged for me nice trip to Aswan, Abusimbel, Luxor and Baharyi. The price was good as well. The hotel was enough clean. so, I was happy with staying in this hostel. THANK YOU RAMY for helping me.

Easy to find. Talk to no one on the street asking where you\'re from. A meal in Dahab is day in Cairo $. Ask what to pay before going anywhere via taxi. The price the guys'll give you is the MAX for tourists. I took Lonely Planet\'s advise to get myself around Egypt and find tours there. Good advise, conversation, tea and coffee, and slow, but free wifi, not to mention good price.
Very nice people they are allways trying to help you, they have a lot of information about tours and very cheap, ask Ramy! about it he has the best prices (THANK YOU RAMY FOR THE GREAT TIME I HAD). Clean rooms. Clean bathrooms, and very well located.

Very good place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not very aware of the public transport, but great in everything else. Perfect location. Can use metro or bus to go everywhere. The guy on the evening shift is cool (gave my a card but I lost it!) very good deals to organize trips. Would deffinitelly come back.
Stayed at the Sun Hotel for about a week. It was really nice, and fantastic value. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location is really convenient. Ramy organised several trips for me around Egypt, and they were all great. Only bad thing I could mention is that the dorm rooms are not locked, so you should be extra careful to keep an eye on your stuff - though nothing of mine was stolen even though I left it all in plain view all the time. I will definately stay here again.

Staff very friendly, they were very helpfull and nice people. The building is too old, because the hostal is located in old Cairo. The price was excellent, Cairo is a very cheap city. The location does not matter because you can take a taxi for a really good price. Bathrooms and rooms were clean.
