Unbelivable, i dont know how can someone present a room like that, i think they have this special room for guests who make reservations online. The room was right behind the reception desk, a complete hole, the bathroom was right next to the door and i believe that if i farted in there, anyone at the reception could hear. Completely unacceptable, went look for other place in that precise moment.

My double room shared a window with the bathroom of the room next door. So if someone was using the bathroom it was like being in there with them. No privacy. Otherwise all OK for the price.

We made a booking but when we arrived they said they were full, despite there being a room free where a cleaner was having a siesta. The owner was really rude and unhelpful, and said she was taking us to the next building. We ended uo being taken to a residential apartment block 10 minutes walk away. It wasn't a hostel at all, but a room in someone's home. Thoroughly NOT recommended.

Hostel was absolutely crappy!!! When we arrived it increased in price from our original booking quote-by $100 a night. The first room we were showed was just big enough for the bed and had someone else's dirty linen still on it, and was a shared bathroom-we had booked a private bathroom. One staff member spoke English the rest sat around all day in the tiny little lobby that our shoebox room came off smoking and talking very loud. Worse we had our beer in the fridge drunk and $100 went missing from our room, which on the 2nd day was used as storage for other peoples luggage. It was a big rugby weekend in HK and if we weren't desperate for somewhere to sleep we would not have stayed. And one other thing there was a sign on the door when entering the Hostel, from the HK Government that the hostel operating in the building was illegal!!!!

after arrival we were taken to another hostel in a nearby street (jaffe road). the hostel was clean, tidy and had hot water. only we had booked a twin room and it took a while before they gave in and agreed to give us a twin room we had booked. they also said we were to stay there only for 1 night and should then move again (very inconvenient and a weird story after all). in the end we stayed there for all 3 nights. BTW: on my email I sent prior to arrival asking whether everything was ok with the reservation I never got a reply.the location is really good (near MTR station)and in the middle of causeway bay!

The hostel was very clean and secure and the location was great. However, the shower was disappointing as there was a shower hose above the toliet but every time after you had a shower there was water everywhere and you had to mop it up with towels. This was not what I was expecting for a bathroom and the room that was on the internet did not represent the actual room. My parents had also called to book an additional date and this was confirmed verbally. However, when they got there they were told that there was no booking and so they had to find somewhere else to stay last minute. Whatever you do I suggest you ask for everything in writing including the price. The staff spoke very limited English so it was nearly impossible to communicate which caused a lot of frustration

Dear Madam / Sir, We went to the Hostel this morning. The Hostel manager, however, said there will be no availability for my guests tomorrow. They said they have already informed you for closing the room inventory on 22 December 2007. Nevertheless, your website continues to process the reservation(s) for them. According to their explanation, my reservations are unauthorized. My guests, therefore, will not be served anyway. We are very angry for the case. Firstly, we have to find another place for my guests rashly. Secondly, we have to pay more expensive rental to comfort my guests. Thirdly, 10% rental has been paid to you without providing any service. In such situation, we urge you to do the follow up as follows: 1) Money refund for the prepayment 2) Compensation for our loss 3) A brief explanation We look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Ruby WONG Director

Great location; easy access to all transportation. 24 hour supermarket next door and all kind of shopping nearby. Staff is helpful. We definitely return.

Positive: location near metro, bus, park, restaurants. A/C, accomodating staff, security building, hot water shower. Negative: room had not been cleaned in 2 years.
