The staff accidentally cleaned my room and packed up my belongings a day before I checked out (throwing away some of my things while I was out) Not happy. Also the towels they supply are filthy and stink. Sarah, from USA ~ 9th Sep 2009

First off all you should be aware of the locks on the rooms, in our case they simply didn'nt work. What's the point of handing a key then?? Second of all: a big A/C unit is smiling at you when you enter the room. Don't bother looking for the remote, because the recepsionist has it and in case u want it u will be charged another $5 a night. Last thing bring your own towels cause ours had unidentified brown spots on it. Some positive notes, staff is very friendly and semi-fluent in English. And th Arne, from Netherlands ~ 21st Aug 2009

Windows didn't fit so all the mosquitos were free to come and go as they please which also made security questionable. There was damp all over the ceiling and wires sticking out of the wall- not sure if they're live, didn't dare test them! I wouldn't recommend this place, better places available for the same money. Best staff from anywhere I stayed in SE Asia. Friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is being a decent walk from the river. Dwight, from USA ~ 14th Aug 2009

A good value for money guest house. The reception was efficient and pleasant in everthing that they did. On our return to Phnom Penh we will stay there again Trevor, from England ~ 16th Jul 2009

The level of service, of all the staff (husband, wife and the bell boys),was exceptional and accommodating. Most importantly, it was extremely beneficial that the young husband and wife were fluent in English (and other languages too!). Inquire anything about the Phnom Penh, day trips and on-ward journey and they are more then happy to advise. The prices are reasonable and it helped with taking the burden off our shoulders. The rooms were basic, but not a huge issue. Highly recomme Annie, from England ~ 5th Aug 2009

It is very basic and also a fair trek from the centre of everything, perhaps 15minutes by tuk tuk. For mere convenience i would not stay here. MICHELE, from England ~ 2nd Apr 2009

The hostel is right near one of the big markets, friendly staff, rooms are a little short so if you're taller than 1.7 or 1.8 meters you might not be able to stand up straight! Ashley, from USA ~ 4th Feb 2009

Wrote wrong review for wrong hostel. sorry. THIS hostel was good. The owner couldn't understand any english, and the staff's english was minimal. We asked, twice, for extra pillows since we had two extra people with us but they never brought them up and they tried to charge us for it. The bathroom was nice, the room itself was blah. Fridge wasn't on. The walls were half painted but the tape was never removed, outlet wasn't covered so we had one plug for 5 people, instead of three plugs.Location jennifer, from Canada ~ 28th Dec 2008
