Nice staff, a bit unclean, i guess for cambodian standards it is ok, you have to take your shoes off before entering, which is ok, but then the floor should be clean, which was not always the case. good food, though.

Very impersonal service. Could smile more and be more social with the guests. Choice of food in hostel restaurant is very poor. Should have more choices of Khmer food and increase the portion size of food. It is also a good idea for them to inform guests in advance of the construction nearby.

Nice relaxing place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff who happily arranged anything we needed, including accommodation in Siem Reap.

very nice hostel. can't beat the price. Provided tours to everywhere one wants to go in Phnom Penh (killing fields, S21, musuems, the river), spoke very good english which was a great help. Walking distance from anywhere you would want to go. Would definately stay here again, hot shower/cold airconditioning for the price i paid, i couldn't ask for more.

We stayed here one night. The room was dark and damp and had no window, and was expensive despite these traits. The common room was nice, though, and so was the daily viewing of The Killing Fields. The location was in town, but I prefer staying at the lakeside.

The family that runs this guest house is very nice. Most speak perfect English so that made it easier for us. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with our travel arrangements. Short walk to very cheap internet. Clean rooms. Would stay here again.

Sunday Guest House is a clean place with friendly and helpful staff. It's a bit away from the sights in Phnom Penh, but the staff readily arranges for reasonably-priced transportation for sight-seeing. This is the sister guest house to the Jasmine Lodge in Siem Reap, which is an EXCELLENT place to stay. If you're going to Siem Reap also, stay in Sunday Guest House in the capital, because then these two places can better coordinate your travel needs.
