- “ Convenient and central location, helpful and friendly staff, adequate and clean facilities with reliable wifi and a homey cafe that cooks good and reasonably priced food. Very good value for the money spent. Would stay there again. ”

- “ Perfect english speaking stuff, they were friendly and helped with everything. Good facilities and perfect Internet, but you have to register at the reception first and just instantly after check out the access is gone. Big rooms but in an average condition and the food in the hostel's owned bar is great but expensive. Walking distance to Tian'anmen and Dong'anmen St. (cheap and extraordinary food). Big plus, that we could use all the "public" facilities even 3 days after check out! ”

- “ Very friendly helpful staff, always smiling. Clean comfortable rooms, very good bar and restaurant. I always stay here when I am in Beijing. The cheapest and the best! Private rooms are worth the extra money for the en-suite bathroom alone! Highly recommended, definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed in! ”

- “ Location wins. Daily room cleaning gives a point. Showers are excellent. The hostel provides every kind of tours and info. The thing we didnt like is that the wireless internet can work properly only in the bar area. Luckily we got a room close to the bar so wi fi could be caught sometimes in there :) ”

- “ We got lots of help from the staff, but some of the tips were completely wrong and we had to be redirected by other staff members when we found out. The hostel was really easy to find and it was as central as you could ask for, within walking distance from many tourist attractions and the subway. Although the staff was overall good, someone forgot to close our room door when emptying the trash bin... ”

- “ The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Each person gets their own key and locker with lock. The bathrooms aren't great and you have to shower in a tiny cubicle while leaning over the toilet. The service at the restaurant in the hostel was terrible. I waited over 40 minutes for my breakfast, and by the time I had to leave for my tour my food still had not arrived, so I had to go hungry. Other people were served before me even though I was the first person to order. ”

- “ It is very close to the forbidden city, convenient location for travellers. The common toilet and shower is together and is a little too cramped. The rest is fine. Breakfast delicious ant not expensive. Good for the price. ”

- “ We had a great time at the Sunrise Hostel in Beijing. It's located right between Wangfujing and Tiananmen (both 10 min. walk). The staff was great and was very helpful. At one point, we almost weren't able to get traintickets we wanted to our next destination but the staff helped us and it all worked out thanks to them. The hostel also offers some tours and shows, we chose the mutianyu tour and the acrobatics show which were both good value for money! We had a private room with our own bathroom which w ”
