i can only suggest this hostel, very friendly staff!!!!!!!!!! Alessio, from Italy ~ 25th May 2012

The Pros: The staff was always kind and helpful, getting up at any hour to make breakfast for people heading out early (4:30a) to Machu Picchu. The open layout is nice and there is a terrace with a bar up top where you can hang out.Plenty of hot water for showers, and the rooms are nice and large. It got noisy at times, but once quiet hours came people were very good about being quiet so people getting up early could get to sleep. We did not use the kitchen much, but it was a good size and nice and Lindsey, from USA ~ 29th Apr 2012

We stayed in SuperTramp for one night before going to Machu Pichu. The place was not chic, the terrace upstairs was trashy, the showers never had hot water, the infamous pancakes I read about were actually 1 tiny pancake:) nonetheless the people that stayed at the place were cool and the staff accommodating. Although we didn't know about it, the was a girl waiting for us with a sign at the train station. The art on the wall was very interesting. ksenia, from Russia ~ 25th Mar 2012

The guys that work there r super friendly, speak English, & r really accommodating. They make u eggs & are easy to chat with. I ended up staying an extra night & they arranged for me to keep the same room. The bathroom was often out of toilet paper, the soap dispenser was lying broken on the counter, & 1 of the showers doesn't work, but none of those r a big deal. My biggest complaint was the loudness of the place - not quiet, peaceful or relaxing & no communal computer to use, but good vibes. April, from USA ~ 20th Jan 2012

Awesome hostel! Very helpful and friendly staff and owner! Very clean with new and comfortable beds. Great location in Aguas Calientes. One of my favorite hostels so far in Peru. When we got back from Machu Pichu they were making pizza, we chipped in a few soles for ingredients and had a great dinner. Fantastic! Mandy, from USA ~ 29th Dec 2011

As a traveler, you live for the simple things. A good bed and great experience. Honestly didnt knew what to expect at Supertramp. The experience blew my mind. The people that manage this hostel is absolutely the best i've seen. Felt like i came to stay with a family instead of a hostel. The breakfast in the morning was really a genuine treat from the heart. If you are heading to Machu Picchu, this is the only hostel i would stay at. Yes, you can find a good bed, but i've found family in here Ernie, from USA ~ 7th Oct 2011
