Great friendly staff. The hostel looks more like a mid-upscale house, very clean and spacious. Bathrooms are house-quality (large with full bathtubs), not your typical cramped hostel bathroom! Colonia is small, so everything is within walking distance. Full, stocked kitchen, good wi-fi, balconies, close enough to the ferries to Buenos Aires. Nice place to stay. It was a nice hostel overall with great friendly helpful staff. The room needed a better clean on the floors and the cobwebs and the damp was quite bad. Great kitchen and fire area. Bathroom had hot showers. Hostel room was very cold. We would recommend for a short stopover. Sara-Jane, from England ~ 19th Aug 2011
