Sur Hotel Sultanahmet in Anuradhapura, Turkey

The hotel is right back the train railway so that would be annoying if you are looking for some quiet. The washroom was old and there was something wrong with the water pipes, but the rooms were big and the breakfast area was adorable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Ozgur and the rest of the staff at the Sur were quite wonderful - welcoming, friendly, very helpful in many ways. My wife and I were in Istanbul for four nights before hooking up with a tour. Our time at the Sur produced some of the best memories of the entire trip. The hotel was clean, very conveniently located, and offered a surprisingly generous and varied (free) breakfast.
