When we arrived we were told there was no 6 bed room available as booked only a 9 bed room and there would be no reduction in price. They made every excuse not to be able register us, no reciept for payment. In the morning every day verbooked People sleeping in the corridoors and and two sofabeds for 4 people in the kitchen making it difficult to use any facilities at all. The staff obviously did not want to register us told lies about registration

This was my least favorite hostel during the trip. They were overbooked & had people sleeping on mats on the kitchen floor and putting together hard chairs and tables as beds. The rooms were dingy, however the kitchen & shower area is very good. The female staff member was very sweet. I would not stay at Sweet Moscow again.

The location and price are great, but you get what you pay for - the single shower does not drain (which is lame when you are dying for a nice shower after 4 days on the train); beware the spooky ancient elevator and the eight stories of crumbling stairs; and there was no blanket and staff was aloof.

1st, I wrote to them that I will be late and provide the Confirmation number, but I don\'t know why they didn\'t get it and Hostelworld cancel my reservation. So, I have to pay more and can\'t have my deposit back. 2nd, they told me that registration need 700 rur, actually, it only need 100 rur.

Great location, that's for sure ! But really too small, we were up to 9 persons inside a small room... Staff, security and fun are OK, nothing to complain about. You definitely want to go there if you are looking for a good price/quality ratio.

Very small but a nice place to stay. The location is excellent. Often overbooking, be careful

A cosy hostel tucked away on Old Arbat. The hostel itself is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is clean and easy-going, but small - there are only two bedrooms in the entire place, and a single communal bathroom. Guests and staff are great fun, though. It's nice to come back late at night to a room full of travellers and staff, lounging around in the kitchen and chatting over drinks.

Some improvements can always be made.

This hostel is in a great location. The bathroom wasn't kept very clean and there was only one shower (even though they say they have two showers, one was broken!). The kitchen was pretty dirty too, as were the dorm rooms. Otherwise it was o.k.
