The bathroom has some persisting smell (seems to be from the drain) but quite clean overall.The room itself is quite nice and clean with comfy bed and pillows. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and hyper-active. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable. The best part of this hostel is probably the roof top where you can hangout and enjoy the awesome view of the Marmara sea anytime you like. A bit on the pricy side for a hostel, due to its superb location, but still highly recommended Phongsan, from Thailand ~ 10th Nov 2011

I felt safe in the hostel but at night the staff seemed to sleep in the small lounge and I wonder if they would hear someone coming through the unlocked main door to the unlocked bedroom doors. The staff were very pleasant but could learn more about their city to give more guidance when planning the itinerary for the days. Very nice Hostel, close to the Bosporus. You have a fantastic view from the terrace. The stuff is friendly and helpful. There are a lot of bars with music and so on near the Hostel. One of The staff barely spoke english. Unhelpful with tourist consulting. Unfriendly to us. In front of us just because we needed to use computet early in the morning. All we needed was a plug....And he kept saying i dont know where it is! Breakfast was average the view at terrace was good. Used bedsheet and pillow. We had to demand again n again. Otima localização, pessoal simpatico e atencioso, quarto de casal com banheiro estava ok, somente tinha um cheiro meio estranho que acho ser do encanamento antigo.
