It is very hard to find, if you don't know that it is located in the alley of the main street, as there are no signs for the hostel. This is due to the Ukrainian law, that adds means higher tax, according to the German owner. Otherwise nice and clean, and located in an apartment building Johnny, from Denmark ~ 6th Mar 2012

Kiev Backpackers hostel has a great location, friendly/helpful staff, and is super secure-we would recommend it to the single female travelers. The mattresses in the dorm are new and firm [sheets and towels are laundered regularly], and the atmosphere is generally calm and quiet. The common room, kitchen and bathroom/toilet are kept clean, if somewhat crowded.[only one bathroom and toilet] WF connection is fast and reliable.Definitely great value for the price!
