Taharuu Lodge in Chiang Mai, French Polynesia

This place is a brilliant place to get away and chill out. Surf beach is just over the road. Owners are always willing to drive you to shops or bank to get money. They had their granddaughters 1st birthday party at the lodge when I stayed and we were inited to the party where we given lot'f different Tahitian foods to try. I'd recommend getting the airport pick up as taxis are VERY expensive and it is quite a way from the airport. Shop is just a 5 min walk away. Transfer ONE WAY from the airport costs more than staying in the lodge for one night... even with the offered lodge-transfer - with taxi even worse... Hann, from Germany ~ 6th Sep 2011
