I stayed at green hostel for 6 nights. It was my first time staying at a hostel and it was so good. Rich was really really nice and helped me with everything!!! So closed to Taipower building mrt station, only 2 minute walk, safe, bank, university, right next to shida night market..etc! so clean! miss Taipei already :) su yuon, from South Korea ~ 15th Aug 2009

There are three points that I like about this place. First, it is convenient. It is near to Shi Da night market and Taipower Metro station. Second, the hostel provides all necessities needed(inclduing toiletries, hair dryer, kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator etc). As the place is rather new, all rooms and bathrooms are quite clean. There is also a computer with free internet access provided. Third, the hostel manager - Rich, is very friendly, he had provided me with much help. Hei Wai, from Singapore ~ 18th Jul 2009

The Taipei Green Hostel was the perfect location for my trip. I found the hostel both extremely clean and very conveniently located next to the Taipei Power Building Metro Stop. It is also very near the Shida night market (my favorite). Most importantly the hostel's host, Rich, is one of the most friendly, accommodating hosts I have ever met. He went out of his way in handling each and every one of my requests. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone planning a trip to Taipei Christopher, from USA ~ 27th Apr 2009
