The front desk staff could smile a bit more, but the cleaning staff were very friendly. Not a hostel at all. Most definitely a hotel. Towels, tea and coffee are provided in your rooms as well as a small fridge. Right across the road from MRT Station - would definitely stay here again.

I was attending a conferecne at teh nearby Taiwan National Hospital. The YMCA was very convenient for this within 15 minutes walking distance.
The staff in the YMCA were very courteous and helpfull. They directed me to a range of resources.
The YMCA has a strange European Menu it was an adventure to try out the Taiwanese interpretations of European Cuisine!
Overall I had an enjoyable stay and would recomend the YMCA for convenience and safety.

I am from Malaysia and recently my family and I (5 adults)went to Taipei (Taiwan) for holiday and we had a enjoyable stay in YMCA Taipei. Thanks to YMCA. Initially we booked 2 rooms (4pax- one room & 2pax another room)as this is the only available room from the internet that time. When we check in, YMCA's staff recommend us a family room where we can all stay together just like a small apartment and with a better rates. It was clean, new and comfortable. The location was strategic. Just a few minutes walk there is a MRT station where we can easily move around in Taipei. Overall, we really enjoy our stay in YMCA.

Everything about the hotel was great. The price is really good for the quality. The location is excellent. There is great food and shopping so close by. The diner in the hotel is a great place to eat and they offer guests discounts. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Taipei is an amazing city that I gladly would visit again.

The location of YMCA is wonderful and convenience to see lots of sightseeing. There is Taipei main station(Subway & Train) to go everywhere include the internationl airport and there is someone 24hrs so you can get a room anytime if there is any vacancy. If you are a backpacker, YMCA is one of the best place in Taipei.

Its has a extremely good location and is very convenient for our extension stay of 2 days. Definately a yes for budget travellers. Slightly noisy in the moring at 3am. Will definately recommend to my friends.

I have booked 6 days and throughout the 6 days there is no change in bedsheet and pillow case which my 2 kids dislike about this motel.
