“ The hostel was great! Modern appearance yet comfortable feel to it. Sufficient facilities. Very helpful and understanding hostel owners who made accommodation for different requests. We felt at ease to sleep in their rooms, but they were a tad not soundproof. It wouldn't be an issue if neighbours are considerate! Location is also very convenient. ”

“ Recommended. Good location, just a few minutes from Guting MRT station, excellent starting point to see many sites around the city. The owner is very friendly and full of good suggestions on how to enjoy your stay in Taipei. Overall it's very clean. Showers and toilets are on one floor while majority of rooms are downstairs. Good hot water, spacious shower areas. The only issue is that the pipes can be loud at night, as the rooms are downstairs. Overall good value. ”

“ Lin was such a nice host I had in Taipei. This place is amazing as the awesome host and staff would be willing to become your friends in Taipei. They will give you a brief introduction of the area right upon your arrival. I re-visited this place to have a beer even after I left and stayed at other reserved place. TaipeiTaipei Hostel is where I can strongly recommend and it is number one hostel in Taipei. I will definitely re-visit him next time. ”

“ I brought a student group of 10 to stay there. The best part of the place is the location--so many great restaurants nearby. It's one of my favorite areas of Taipei. Plus Lin and his staff are relaxed, helpful and friendly, & keep the place in excellent condition. The downstairs has a kind of smell you notice as you descend, which you don't notice after a while. Not sure where it comes from. Maybe from one of the longer-term guests while we were there. ”
