If you're looking for a quiet hostel to get your head down when you arrive in Bangkok then Take a Nap is perfect. It's super quiet so it's not the place for you if you're looking for a sociable fun place. The staff were nice and the room was ok but the facilities are very basic. The location is ok, really near Patpong Night Market and the girlie bars but don't worry about safety. I'm a female travelling by myself and I felt safe there. The skytrain and metro are both close by which was good.

I found a cockroach in the room. On the wooden tables there were very small bugs crawling around (termites?). I'm not sure the sheets are washed... or even changed. I found hair on the pillows. Aside from that, the staff was very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was adequate, room design was nice.
Really clean and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.
A really great hostel. A little away from the main action, but in a good way. It's quiet, close to lots of good places to eat and shop and super close to the sky train so you can get anywhere in the city in no time! It was super clean, and traveling on my own, I felt really safe there. I have stayed twice and would definitely stay again!

Walls are a little thin. So if the neighbouring room wants to party all night, you gonna have to tell them to turn it down.
Love the wall images...very cool! Oh and the air conditioning is amazing! Free Breakfast wasn't too bad either.
Really lovely place, staff very helpful and always smiling. Stayed an extra night here as it was so nice and safe.
