BED BUG WARNING! This may not apply for every bed but the one my roommate and I got left us some nasty itching all over the body, including neck and face, for a week.As for the bathroom, like some reviewers said, there is no ventilation shaft of any kind, so the bathroom is left with moisture and smell all over. The smell slowly fades after a couple days of usage but the moisture and the mould won't go no where. The staff is the jewel of this hostel. Friendly, kind, and very helpful. The best part of Taksim Sofa was its great location, with both the Taksim and Sultanahmet areas easily accessible. The hostel was clean, affordable, well-managed, and quiet. Free Internet and hot water were great perks too. Diego, from USA ~ 2nd Apr 2011

This hostel was impossible to find.Once I was there the room was clean but people came in and out all throughout the night and were very loud. I don't think I slept more than 2 hours a night while I was there. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone who is jet lagged or who is looking to sleep before 3am. In this Hostel you will find what best describes Turkey: HOSPITALITY!!! We only stayed for 2 nights and that was enough to create an excellent relationship with the people. The staff is great fun and very helpful, the hostel isn't very big but is cosy.It isn't very easy to find but if you follow the instructions on the reservation sheet you should be fine.
