Tanguera Hostel is welcoming place to stay. The facilities are basic. The owner is friendly and helpful. The location in San Telmo is fantastic. If you come in the winter, be prepared for cold. The Hostel supplied heaters on request for your room.

Lovely characterful building. Staff very friendly. Showers reflect age of building but plenty of hot water. Well located for San Telmo area. Great common room and good breakfast. Very slow internet but it is free. Would gladly go back again.

My stay was great at Tanguera! The house is amazing, very quiet and comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly, they make you feel like home. Definitely, it was the best guesthouse in Argentina. I'll be back next year!

Really great place but the mosquitos were out of control... don't know why, because that wasn't the case at other places. Aside from that, it was a really charming place.

Loved this place, tranquility in a crazy cool city. Bathroom isn't great - shower in middle of shared area, no lock just shower curtain, the second shower is separated. Apart from that, bueno!
